Barry Zito will try and bounce back from a rough opening start as he takes the mound for the San Francisco Giants on Thursday night in Los Angeles against the Dodgers. Zito gave up four runs and seven hits in four innings at San Diego last week. He will be opposed by the Dodger's Eric Stults. SBG Global reports that early MLB Betting has the public taking Dodgers at Home. SBG has the Opening Line: Dodgers - 160 , Total 8.5 Over - 125

Last season Zito was solid on the road for the Giants going 7-6 with a 4.40 ERA and he has done well in his career at Dodger Stadium, going 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA.

Eric Stults gets his second start in place of the injured Hiroki Kuroda. Stults allowed just one run over 5 1/3 innings at Arizona in his first start.

The Giants come into Thursday's matchup trying to kick start their offense. Manager Bruce Bochy replaced first baseman Travis Ishikawa with Rich Aurilia and second baseman Emmanuel Burriss with Juan Uribe in the lineup on Wednesday. The Giants entered Wednesday's game averaging two runs a game and batting .211 during a four-game losing streak. Some of the younger players like Ishikawa and Burriss are pressing a little bit. "It's early in the season, but these guys are human," said Bochy, "It's human nature to add a little pressure."

Here are the MLB Betting stats for Thursday's game. The Giants are 17-35 in their last 52 games as an underdog. The Giants are 5-2 in Zito's last 7 starts vs. the National League West. The Giants are 9-4 in Zito's last 13 road starts.

The Over is 21-6-1 in the Giants last 28 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Over is 4-0-1 in Zito's last 5 starts as a road underdog. The Over is 5-1-1 in Zito's last 7 starts overall. The Under is 5-1-1 in Zito's last 7 starts vs. the Dodgers

SBG Global Current Line: Dodgers - 170 , Total 8.5 Over - 125
