The New York Mets bookie will be looking to minimize losses as this Queens-based team is expected to excel once again after making it into the World Series last season.

PayPerHeadAgents.com offers services such as live in-play wagering for bookies, player prop options and future bets that help to keep losses down.  They also offer line monitoring, including sharp action, so bookies themselves won’t have to be bothered.

The Mets opened with odds of winning the 2016 World Series at 10-1 and, by May 24, that price had only shifted two points to 12-1.  Oddsmaker had them winning 90.5 regular season games.

New York area bookies were expected to be hit with a double whammy as the Bronx-based Yankees regular season win number was set at 85 early in the season.  Bookies in the region will be taking substantial action on both these MLB teams and the hits should keep coming.

The UNDER is 16-4-1 in the last 21 meetings.  New York had won the last four in the series coming into Thursday and six of the last eight.

Let's look at the probable starting pitchers from June 9:

Matt Harvey (4-8, 4.95) FRIDAY JUNE 10 – Harvey had pitched well in his last two starts but prior to this gave up 19 runs in just over 12 innings so he is not one to back as a sports bettor nor would it be wise to lean on the historically friendly UNDER for this series.

Steven Matz (7-2, 2.69) SUNDAY JUNE 12 - Matz (7-2) allowed two runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out eight over five innings to take the loss in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Pirates. (Tue Jun 7).  Matz has allowed more than two runs (3) just once in his last nine starts including just two in seven innings versus Milwaukee.   Matz hasn’t had a win in his last two.   Probable starter for Milwaukee Zach Davies has allowed four runs or more in four of his last nine, so once again we would shy away from the UNDER here but certainly this is a day to consider the Mets with Matz starting.

Ways for New York Mets bookies to reduce their losses in 2016:

*Provide your players with live in-play betting through use of a proven offshore Pay Per Head provider such as Gambling911.com endorsed PayPerHeadAgents.com.

*The Mets couldn’t win the World Series last year.  Get your diehard Mets fans placing future bets on their team to win the title in 2016.  Their odds are better than in many years past but the odds of another team winning are even greater.

*Trust the Pay Per Head linesmakers.  You may find a line for a particular starting pitcher a little too attractive to sports bettors but there may be a reason behind this (Pitcher A past performance versus a particular team or left-handers).

*Encourage other forms of gambling such as player prop bets, parlays and totals wagering.

For sports bettors be sure to check out BetPhoenix.ag here for all your Major League Baseball futures and daily wagering, including live in-play betting here.
