Pennsylvania Gambling Revenues Up Nearly 12 Percent During March

Gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during March 2016 broke an all-time record, up 11.7% higher than March of last year.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board report shows that this March's gross table games revenue was $77,914,245 compared to $69,770,440 in revenue produced by casinos during March 2015.

Furthermore, total tax revenue derived from table games last month was equal to $11,052,726 with an average of 1,178 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.

In other gambling news from Pennsylvania, the state’s six racetracks reported that $228 million had been accrued for purses with 89.6 percent coming from slot machine revenue.
