The National Football League (NFL) has long held a staunch policy against gambling.  Last year, league franchises began entering into deals with Daily Fantasy Sports companies FanDuel and DraftKings.

Now NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell seems to be softening his position on gambling in light of the Oakland Raiders possible move to Las Vegas.

Mark Davis pledged $500 million toward the building of a proposed $1.4 billion domed stadium in Las Vegas.

"All of us have evolved a little bit on gambling," Goodell said Friday on ESPN Radio on whether gambling in Las Vegas is an issue for the possible Raiders relocation. "To me, where I cross the line is anything that can impact on the integrity of the game. If people think it is something that can influence the outcome of a game, we are absolutely opposed to that."

Sands Corp. chairman Sheldon Adelson has been aggressively wooing Davis to have his team play in the new stadium for which he is overseeing the financing.
