Whitmore has not won his last three races (Grades 1 thru 3), but has finished in either 2nd or 3rd in each of them. These races include the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby and Grade 2 Rebel Stakes.
Louisville-based trainer Ron Moquett will be utilizing the services of star jockey Victor Espinoza, who posted on social media that Whitmore has what it takes to win Saturday’s Kentucky Derby.
