Outwork post position draw landed him in the number fifteen spot with, ironically enough, 15-1 odds.

Number 15 has resulted in 5 wins in 54 starts with three of those coming since 1999, making for a solid starting position.

“We like the 15 for Outwork. It gives us some room inside between the gates,” trainer Todd Pletcher said immediately following the post position draw Wednesday evening.

With three winners in just over 15 years, who could blame him?
