You can bet the Rangers-Athletics series for Monday through Wednesday with Game 1 having Oakland as a -118 favorite at home while Texas was a +108 road dog. The total was coming in at 8.5.

M. Perez (1-3, 3.23) vs. R. Hill (5-3, 2.68)
Texas has won five of the last six games in this series. The OVER is 4-0 in the last four games of this series. Eight of ten have resulted in eight or more runs.
The Rangers are 7-2 in Derek Holland’s last 9 starts vs. Oakland and he has only allowed 14 hits off of 63 at bats.
Holland has been abysmal in his two turns this month but escaped with a no-decision after yielding five runs (four earned). This is an excellent opportunity for him to bounce back versus a team (and roster) he has enjoyed success against in the past.
On Tuesday we have the Rangers Cole Hamels having allowed five runs (three earned) on nine hits over 5.2 innings in his last start and he has been cold against the A’s, permitting 17 hits off of 64 at bats with three of those being home runs.
Eric Surkamp, meanwhile, has allowed 16 runs in just over 19 innings pitched this season.
