Seattle Mariners Bookie Guide, Sports Betting Outlook
Gambling911.com has your Seattle Mariners bookie guide and the current sports betting outlook.
Heading into the June 20-23 series with Detroit, the Mariners were 36-33 but had just lost seven of their last ten games overall.
The OVER was 11-4-1 in the series with mostly alternating wins between the two ball clubs.
The Mariners Probable Starting Pitchers:
Nathan Karns (5-2, 4.06) - MONDAY JUNE 20 - Karns struck out eight while allowing two runs on four hits and two walks in five innings Wednesday against the Rays. He received no decision in what turned out to be a 13-inning loss. (Thu Jun 16)
James Paxton (1-2, 2.86) - TUESDAY JUNE 21 - Once among the majors' most highly touted pitching prospects before injuries derailed his last two seasons, Paxton's delivered three straight quality starts. He did get the win his last start but this was among his worst performances of his four starts this season.
Hisashi Iwakuma (6-5, 4.18 )- WEDNESDAY JUNE 22 - Iwakuma wasn't dominant Friday night against the Red Sox, but he went seven innings for the fifth consecutive start. The Mariners won in his last two starts and five of his last six. But be careful here. Iwakuma has practically allowed hits on half of 90 at bats versus the current Tigers roster (35 of 90 to be exact). 12 of those were extra base. 7 of those were homers.
Ways for Mariners bookies to reduce their losses in 2016:
*Provide your players with live in-play betting through use of a proven offshore Pay Per Head provider such as Gambling911.com endorsed PerHead.com.
*Let your players bet futures for the Mariners to win the 2016 World Series. The odds of this happening are slim, especially after winning it last year. But a few diehards will put money on it happening just as long as you are willing to take their bet.
*Trust the Pay Per Head linesmakers. You may find a line for a particular starting pitcher a little too attractive to sports bettors but there may be a reason behind this (Pitcher A past performance versus a particular team or left-handers).
*Encourage other forms of gambling such as player prop bets, parlays and totals wagering.
