Jurgen Klinsmann's tenure as the United States Men's National Team (USMNT) head coach, has been filled with controversy amid the fans and media. It seems from match to match and competition to competition, Klinsmann's job is always up for debate, and with each shortcoming of results the questions arise again and again. There were rumors this past winter that Klinsmann was being approached by a handful of clubs in the English Premier league and the German Bundesliga, but the German national put those to rest as quickly as the rumors started.
The United States submitted their 40-man roster on May 4, as did all the teams who will be appearing in the competition. The final 23-man rosters will be handed in on May 20, and barring injuries, only players listed on the 40-man preliminary roster will be allowed to appear among the final 23 players featuring in the competition.
