You can bet the Rockies-Marlins series for Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday’s game had Florida at -138 and Colorado at +120.  The total, which should be the focus for gamblers, was coming in at 8.

The last six games in this series, including Friday night, have stayed UNDER 6.5 runs.

The UNDER is 6-2-1 in Colorado’s last 9 overall.  The UNDER is 6-0 in Tyler Chatwood’s last six overall.  Four of the last ten games in which Chatwood has started have gone resulted in 9 or more runs.

Six of the last ten games in which Wei-Yin Chen has started in has resulted in nine or more runs.  He has struggled with the home run ball throughout his career -- Chen has never had a season with a HR/9 below 1.1 -- and a move to Miami hasn't helped one bit as of yet.

The UNDER is 14-6 in the Marlins last 20 home games vs. a right-handed starter.

Saturday’s game is still risky when it comes to betting the total.

Sunday’s game is not betable due to the Rockies Tyler Anderson’s limited MLB experience.
