Swing states are those that can go either Democrat or Republic in the general Presidential election.  They are often referred to us purple states being that the Republican party is represented by the color red and the Democratic party is represented by the color blue (to combine and make purple).

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is favored to win in Florida with 4-11 odds (payout is US$4 for every US$11 bet) compared to real estate magnate and reality star Donald Trump paying $15 for every $8 bet.

Ohio also leans slightly towards the Democrats at 4-7 odds with the Republicans coming in at 5-4 odds.

North Carolina had the Democrats and Clinton favored at 8-11 odds and the Republicans at EVEN.

Iowa had odds that more heavily favored the Democrats at 1-3 while the Republicans were coming in at 2-1.

Texas looks to be an absolute lock for the Republicans at 1-100 odds though the increasing Hispanic population has many believing that the Lone Star State could shockingly turn Democrat.

Might this happen in 2016?  You may want to consider this wager.  A $10 bet pays $140 and a $100 bet pays $1400.
