Expect the total to range between 10.5 and 12 for each of these games.  Two of the last three games in this series played at Coors Field have totaled 15 runs.

Thursday’s Game One starting pitching matchup: PITCHING MATCHUP: Diamondbacks RH Zack Greinke (10-3, 3.54 ERA) vs. Rockies RH Eddie Butler (2-4, 6.26)

Greinke is 7-4 with a 4.06 ERA in 19 career appearances (18 starts) against Colorado and is 2-0 with a 4.19 ERA in seven appearances (six starts) at Coors Field.

Carlos Gonzalez (12-for-31, four homers) and rookie Trevor Story (3-for-7, two homers) have each given Greinke fits for all you Daily Fantasy MLB players out there.

Butler is making his eighth start of the season and is returning to the rotation due to an injury to top starter Tyler Chatwood.  Colorado is 2-6 in Butler’s last 8 home starts.

Gambling911.com will hone in on Saturday’s game and the OVER, whatever number might be posted.

Jorge De La Rosa allowed three runs on five hits over six innings to beat the Marlins on Monday, striking out three and walking two. (Mon Jun 20).  In his last four home starts, the games have finished with 14 or more total runs.   Against the current Arizona lineup, De La Rosa has permitted 19 hits off of 63 at bats with 9 extra base hits and three home runs.  We especially like that De La Rosa is coming off a win his last start.  He’s reached the six-inning mark just once in seven starts entering this game.  Arizona’s Shelby Miller has also failed miserably against the current Rockies roster.
