Trevor ‘TmarTn’ Martin to Issue Statement on CS:GO Lotto Fiasco: ‘TmarTn’ Twitter Hacked
  • YouTube stars, Trevor “TmarTn” Martin and Tom “Syndicate” Cassell never revealed their interests in online gambling site CS:GO Lotto
  • Syndicate issued apology Sunday night while TmarTn was expected to do so Tuesday
  • YouTuber and streamer Josh "JoshOG" Beaver also found to have had an equity interest in the gambling website
  • TmarTn Twitter account hacked as news of gambling site ownership broke on Monday

There were plenty of fireworks this 4th of July as YouTube and eSports stars, Trevor "TmarTn" Martin and Tom "Syndicate" Cassell, came under fire for failing to reveal their ownership interests in Counter-Strike: GO gambling website CS:GO Lotto.

While Syndicate addressed the latest controversy Sunday night via his Twitter, and apologised to fans who felt “mislead”, Trevor "TmarTn" Martin had not yet done so by Monday evening, instead letting the world know he would be issuing a statement on Monday.

For his part, Syndicate wrote: "I apologise to anyone who feels mislead regarding the ownership of CS:GO Lotto," Syndicate said. "I will always be more transparent from here on out!

"I do however stand very firmly behind the fact that CS:GO Lotto has never and will never scam/steal from players."

Both have been promoting the website on their respective YouTube channels without divulging their ownership interest in CS:GO Lotto for several months now.

The news comes as another high-profile YouTuber and streamer Josh "JoshOG" Beaver, who was also found to have had an equity interest in the gambling website, began removing videos from his YouTube channel.

When attempting to log into the CS:GO Lotto site Monday, visitors were greeted with the following warning:

"The URL you are attempting to log in to has been blocked by our moderators and staff. This site may be engaged in phishing, scamming, spamming, or delivering malware.”

To make matters worse for TmarTn, his Twitter site was apparently hacked Monday.
