The Giants are 7-2 in this series over the last nine and the OVER is 8-1-1 in the last 10 meetings.  The Reds offer San Francisco the perfect medicine to get back on track following a 1-7 performance over their past eight games.

With Jake Peavy 7-1 with a 2.92 ERA in his career against the Reds and having been clobbered by Cincinnati the last time he faced them, the Giants starter and the club as a whole will have something to prove Monday night as they return home from a disastrous road trip.

Peavy has allowed just 18 hits on 74 at bats versus this Reds roster.  Cincinnati has been playing well of late but, on the road, they are just 14-32, and against San Francisco, they are 2-7 in the last nine.

Reds starter RH Anthony DeSclafani (5-0, 2.50 ERA) has been sensational and part of the reason for Cincinnati's solid play of late.  He helps bring the price down for San Francisco.

Watch for Madison Bumgarner to be solid on Wednesday as he did not factor into the decision in his last start and will face a Reds roster who have hit just 20 off of 76 at bats off of his pitching.  The price for Bumgarner should be steep though.
