MONDAY PITCHING MATCHUP: Tigers RH Justin Verlander (9-6, 3.74 ERA) vs. Red Sox LH Drew Pomeranz (8-7, 2.83)

Verlander last allowed just one run in eight frames at Fenway Park in what ultimately ended up being a no-decision.  He is coming off a no-decision his last trip to the mound.

Verlander has allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last four starts.

Pomeranz, meanwhile, was knocked around for five runs and eight hits in his team debut last week.

The UNDER is 6-1-1 in Detroit’s last 8 overall.

The Red Sox are 10-4 in their last 14 games vs. a right-handed starter.
