Odds to Win the 2016 Whitney Stakes: Frosted the Favorite
Gambling911.com has your odds to win the 2016 Whitney Stakes.
This race will be run at New York's Saratoga Racetrack and is run on 1⅛ miles (9 furlongs) of dirt and features a $750,000 purse.
The race is open to horses three years of age or older.
This is a critical prep race for the Breeders Cup as the “Win and You’re In” qualification format guarantees the winner to automatically qualify for the Breeders Cup Classic.
Of the six horses running Saturday, Frosted enters the race with the best odds of winning.
“He’s couldn’t be doing better,” trainer Kiaran McLaughlin said of the 3-5 favorite. “He’s matured so much from 3 to 4. The Met was fabulous, a ‘wow’ race. He’s supposed to regress some, yet we still hope to win. We feel comfortable and confident that the mile and an eighth is not going to be an issue.”
