Odds to Win the AFC West Division 2016 – Denver Broncos
The reigning Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos odds of winning the AFC West division in 2016 were set at 2-1 for a potential payout of $200 on every $100 bet or $20 for every $10 bet.
Make no mistake about it, this will not be the same Broncos team that won last year’s Super Bowl as starting quarterback Peyton Manning retired after that game and the starting quarterback situation is in flux entering Week 1.
It wasn’t his best season but Manning carried this team with his leadership.
Denver is still expected to win 9 regular season games in 2016 though the Kansas City Chiefs are priced at -135 to win OVER 9.5 regular season games.
The Broncos will still have their top defense left mostly intact entering 2016, with a few notable exits including Malik Jackson and a good chunk of Denver’s front.

The primary reason the Broncos were able to prevail in Super Bowl 50 despite Manning's ghastly performance was the play of the defense. Resembling the 1985 Chicago Bears, Denver locked down the league's most-explosive offense. MVP Cam Newton was absolutely blindsided, both literally and figuratively, as the Panthers didn't seem to quite know how to block Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware.
The Broncos were able to overcome Peyton Manning's horrific quarterbacking last year, thanks to the rest of their roster being extremely talented. They won't be able to do the same with Mark Sanchez or Paxton Lynch because they lost a few key members of their roster. They'll still be extremely competitive, but it shouldn't surprise anyone if they end up missing the playoffs this season.
