Reid Claim ‘Human Leech” Trump Unable to Secure NV Gaming License Proves False
  • Outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid asserts Trump unable to obtain Nevada gaming license due to past history of “mismanaging casinos”
  • Records show Trump did in fact obtain gaming license in 2004
  • Video from Senate floor this week shows Reid in rant against Trump, calling him a “human leech”

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says GOP nominee and casino magnate Donald Trump had a history of mismanaging casinos that would have prevented him from operating in the state of Nevada.

Reid initially stated that the Nevada Gaming Commission denied Republican nominee a gaming license for the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, which turned out to be false as the hotel was not planning to operate a casino.

“I may not be an expert on a lot of stuff, but I’m an expert on gaming licenses,” Reid, a former chairman of the Nevada Gaming Commission, told Post reporter Ben Terris. “You can’t have filed 14 bankruptcies, cheat people out of stuff. In gaming circles, if somebody does something bad once, you can’t get a gaming license. He’s done something bad his whole life.”

It was also revealed that Trump was indeed able to obtain a gaming license in the state in 2004 but has so far opted not to use it.

Reid did not hold back on his attack against Trump, calling him a “human leech” as part of epic rant on Senate floor
