Sixers 2017 Regular Season Win Total Odds Off Board With Ben Simmons Injury

With Ben Simmons signed with the Philadelphia Sixers, their 2017 regular season win total odds were set at 27.5.  The Nets, Lakers and Suns actually were expected to win fewer games for once.  But these odds have since been taken off the board.

It was revealed Friday evening that Simmons, a favorite (+175) to win Rookie of the Year, had fractured his foot.

While oddsmakers have reacted to the news swiftly, this is far from a season-ending injury.  Still, it was unclear how long he would be sidelined.

Simmons was injured Friday during the final training-camp scrimmage at Stockton University in New Jersey.

The Sixers said Simmons rolled an ankle, and X-rays and an MRI revealed a fractured fifth metatarsal bone.
