Florida Early Voting Numbers Favor Clinton: -2.5 Favorite at Betting Markets
While poll numbers had Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump in a dead heat in the Sunshine State, betting markets had Clinton up -2.5 points but within the margin of error.

Early voting records were shattered in Florida, thanks in no small part to the turnout of Hispanic voters.
A Republican consultant in the state, David Johnson, told the Naples Daily News he believed Clinton could win by as much as three points, noting his party’s lack of ground game in the state.
“We used to have a great statewide operation,” Johnson said. “Now I’m not convinced that’s going on, because I don’t see the evidence. And I see it on the Democrats’ and their allies’ side.”
The number of Latinos who voted in person through Saturday was up fully 100 percent from 2012.
This news comes in stark contrast to what the Drudge Report released on Monday.
From Drudge:
Data obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT shows presidential underdog Donald Trump outperforming Republican 2012 election results in Florida.
Mitt Romney went into Election Day down 161,000 in absentee ballots and early voting. He ended up losing the state by 74,000.
This time, in a dramatic surprise twist, Trump is only down 32,500! And Republicans tend to outvote Democrats on Election Day in Florida.
Meanwhile, a survey released early last week by William and Mary College and TargetSmart seemed to indicate that 28 percent of early voters who were registered Republicans voted for Clinton. These numbers were recorded prior to FBI Director James Comey first notice that “new” emails in connection with Hillary Clinton were under investigation. On Sunday, Comey gave an “all clear” to Clinton, abruptly ending the week’s long probe.
