The Falcons vs. Patriots early Super Bowl 51 betting line opened at Patriots -1.5 at BetOnline as New England is heading to the Super Bowl to face Atlanta. A line was being offered prior to the conclusion of the AFC Championship game and was likely to be especially fluid even the days following Sunday's Conference Championship games. Atlanta beat Green Bay earlier in the day by 23 points at home to notch only their second NFC Championship in franchise history. This will be their second Super Bowl appearance, the first of which was a loss to Denver in 1999.
The Steelers opened as a +2 underdog against Atlanta if they were to have advanced to the Super Bowl. That bet option was removed from the board prior to the 4th quarter of the AFC Championship game.
