Gamblers were smiling Sunday night with New England winning outright and easily covering the 6 point spread. The betting public was backing the Patriots spread at a 60 percent clip and the Patriots money line at 65 percent.
Earlier in the day books won big with the other favorite Atlanta’s statement victory over Green Bay. Here it was the dog seeing much of the backing with the Packers +4.5 to +6 point spread embraced by around 60 percent of the wagering public.
