Kevin Durant Out At Least Four Weeks With MCL Sprain – Bettor Alert

The Warriors Kevin Durant will be out indefinitely after an MRI discovered an MCL sprain and bone bruise in his leg.  He is expected to miss at least four weeks.

The injury was suffered in the first quarter of Tuesday night's 112-108 loss to the Washington Wizards.

Durant’s loss over this period will most certainly impact the team’s odds.  He has been the team’s top scorer this season, averaging 25.8 points per game.

The Warriors currently lead the San Antonio Spurs (45-13) by four games for the West's top spot.

Golden State had been a 5/11 favorite to win the 2017 NBA Championship heading into Tuesday night.  By Wednesday morning, future odds were taken off the board.
