Gambling911.com continues to monitor Champions League betting odds for Barcelona v Man United.  This is one of the most anticipated matchups of the month.

At Sportingbet.com both Barcelona and Man United promised payouts of US$155 for every US$100 bet, just to show what a tight matchup this was.

For US gamblers, SBG Global offered a line that would pay out US$140 for every US$100 bet.

An analysis from SBG Global:

"The match on Wednesday features the top two soccer teams in the world as Manchester United is the top team in Europe while Barcelona is the top team in Spain.  The match also features two of the best players in the world as United has Cristiano Ronaldo while Barcelona has Lionel Messi. Both Manchester United and Barcelona are teams that have no obvious weaknesses.  That is what makes the Champions League Final of Barcelona v Man United one of the most anticipated soccer matches in recent memory."

While Ronaldo gets a lot of the press the player that Barcelona is worried about is Wayne Rooney.

"What I value most about the way United play is how hard players like Rooney work." Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta said, "He was filling in at left back against us last year in the semi-final. We cannot commit any mistakes because they have so much firepower up front.'"

A big key for Barcelona on Wednesday could be the health of Iniesta and Thierry Henry, SBG Global advised.

"They both looked very good and very comfortable right from the start of the session (Monday)." midfielder Xavi said, "We now have them back with us and if nothing strange happens they will play the final."

The draw on this one would pay out US$200 for every US$100 bet at SBG Global and US$215 for every US$100 bet at Sportingbet.com (which does not accept US customers at this time).

Sportingbet does offer a wider variety of wagering opportunities including final score betting odds, the first to score and whether there will be a penalty issued during the first or second half.
