The Cavs vs. Hawks betting odds for March 3 Friday night had Cleveland as a -2.5 road dog.

Cleveland is 41-18 Straight Up but three games under the .500 mark Against The Spread with two pushes.  They have covered in six of their last ten games.

Atlanta is 34-26 Straight Up and two games under the .500 mark ATS.   They have only covered in four of their last ten games.

Though the Hawks won in the last meeting against Cleveland, the Cavaliers have owned this series, winning the nine previous games.  All but two of those were by more than the current 2.5 spread.   Six of those could be considered blowouts.

Atlanta Forward Ersan Ilyasova had his best night since joining the team Feb. 22 The veteran was 6-for-7 from the field and scored 18 against the Mavericks Wednesday night.  He is a threat at the three-point line.

“It’s still going to take a little bit of time,” Ilyasova said. “Getting used to players who are going to be in the right spot, expecting a pass from me. It’s going to take a little time. I’m glad to be a part of it.”

Cleveland lost to Boston 103-99 on Wednesday, despite getting a triple-double from LeBron James.
