Dave Mason of BetOnline declared Friday night’s UCLA vs. Kentucky as the single most wagered on game of the 2016-2017 College Basketball season.

BetOnline

“53 percent of that action was on the Bruins,” Mason confirmed heading into that big game.

UCLA was a -1.5 favorite but it was Kentucky that won by 11 points (86-75).

With such heavy volume, that 53 percent was equivalent to more around 65 percent exposure for the books if this were a typical game.  As a result, BetOnline and other books made out especially well with the Kentucky victory.

The Wildcats were coming in as a +2 underdog versus UNC in their Elite Eight game Sunday.

Once again, the public was backing Kentucky’s opponent, this time 60/40.

No word yet on the amount of volume being generated for this game.
