Cavs Have Bookies Smiling These Days, Sports Bettors Getting Crushed
Heading into Thursday’s Game 3 versus the Pacers 2-0 in the first round of the Playoffs but the books are probably wishing they could face Indiana right through to the Championship, assuming Cleveland makes it there.
That’s because Cleveland is 2-10-1 Against The Spread in the last thirteen meetings versus the Pacers and 1-6-1 ATS in Indiana.

Cleveland has failed to cover the spread in five of their last six including games against Toronto and Atlanta.
The books have been faring well with Cleveland this season. The Cavs is a team that has gone 36-45-3 Against The Spread.
Still, this might not matter much in the end if Cleveland can pull off another championship victory.
“The Cavs are definitely one of our liabilities. In fact, I think the Cavs are our only loser,” Johnny Avello, executive director of race and sports at Wynn Las Vegas, told Covers.com. “We’re rooting against Golden State, although they’re not a big loser for us anymore.”
