Bookmakers Remove Trump Impeachment Odds in Light of ‘Comey Memo’

North American and European-based online bookmakers Tuesday evening removed odds on the US President Donald J. Trump ultimately being impeached during his first term.

It was not immediately clear if a flood of action with dramatically changing news over the past 48 hours had prompted the removal.

Tuesday’s late breaking news by the New York Times suggests that fired FBI Director James Comey may have left a paper trail detailing his meetings with the President.

The Times report details allegations that Trump had asked Comey to drop any investigation into former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn.

On Monday, news broke that the US President may have shared classified information with the Russians, something the White House has denied.
