The Derby 2017 Betting Odds has Cracksman New Favorite

The Derby 2017 betting odds had Cracksman coming in at 4-1 odds at some books while 5-1 across much of the board.  The 4-1 price makes his the new odds-on favorite ahead of Cliffs Of Moher (5-1) for this June 3 race.

Churchill, at either 5-1 or 6-1 depending on the book, was seeing the most action within the field at 13 percent.  Cliffs Of Moher was seeing 10 percent, Cracksman 9 percent.

The Derby, shortened from Epsom Derby, first began in 1780 and is run at Epsom Downs, Epsom, Surrey, England, UK.

It is run at a distance of 1m 4f 10y (2,423 m) on turf and features a £1,325,000 purse.
