The month of May comes to an end just as the NHL’s Stanley Cup Finals begin to heat up and the NBA Finals prepare to get underway. While those two best-of-seven championship series highlight this week’s betting board at America’s Bookie, there is plenty of other betting action on the slate including the opening round of play in this year’s French Open for tennis.

The MLB schedule gets things started on Tuesday night with a double header of betting action on ESPN. Starting at 7 p.m. (ET) from Busch Stadium, this week’s three-game clash between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals continues after the Dodgers won the series opener 5-1 on Monday afternoon as +100 even money road underdogs. America’s Bookie has opened St. Louis as a slight -101 home underdog for Game 2 with the total set at 8.5. The series finale from St. Louis is also the featured matchup on ESPN this Wednesday night at 8:15 p.m.

Later Tuesday night in a 10 p.m. start at AT&T Park in San Francisco, the Washington Nationals will try and beat the Giants for the second-straight time after taking Game 1 of this three-game tilt 3-0 on Monday as slight -107 road favorites. The MLB moneyline odds at America’s Bookie have San Francisco listed as a -119 favorite for Tuesday night and the total has been set at eight.

The highlight of Wednesday night’s betting schedule is Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Nashville Predators and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The defending NHL Champion Penguins took the early lead in this best-of-seven battle with a wild 5-3 victory on Monday night as -166 favorites at home. The total easily went OVER the closing 5.5-goal betting line.

Pittsburgh watched an early three-goal lead disappear only to bounce back to win Game 1 on a late goal in the third period by Jake Guentzel, who leads Pittsburgh in scoring in the postseason with 10 goals. The Penguins were held to just 11 shots on goal in that game and their goalie Matt Murray turned away 23 of the 26 shots he faced. Be sure to check America’s Bookie for all the betting lines for this 8 p.m. start on NBC Sports Network.
