Online Bookies in UK Slash Odds on Wayne Rooney Move

On Monday, the odds of Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney rejoining Everton were slashed from 3/1 to 8/11 across the board.

The 31-year-old Rooney only started in 15 games and saw his usage rate drop substantially.

Online bookies in the UK  have reacted to the news that Rooney reportedly has fallen out of favor with Man United boss Jose Mourinho.

Everton manager Ronald Koemand has already said he would welcome Rooney back with open arms.

"I've played for two Premier League clubs and they're the only two Premier League clubs I'll play for," said Rooney, leading many of the UK bookmakers offering just two choices for punters.

Everton has spent the transfer window period putting together a solid lineup that includes the £30m signing by goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, £24m signing by midfielder Davy Klaassen and £7m signing by striker Henry Onyekuru.

Everton’s odds of winning a championship in 2018 were set at 66-1.
