Jets-Bills NFL Week 1 Betting Line Sees Buffalo Nearing -7

The Jets-Bills NFL Week 1 betting line opened at Buffalo -6 and has since moved to -6.5.  Whether this one continues to move to -7 remains to be seen.

The underdog has managed to go 4-0 in this series while Buffalo has failed to cover the spread in the last two home games of this series using the current number of 6.5.  That’s not the case in the previous three at home where the Bills dismantled the Jets.

This looks like it will be a very long season for Jets fans.  Bettors should not fare much better. Oddsmakers expect them to have the 4th worst record in the league when all is said and done.  They are likely being generous in this assessment.

As far as the Bills go, there has been a major staffing change with only one of the 11 coaches remaining having worked under ousted head coach Rex Ryan. There was not one category in which the offensive staff was above average at as a collective in 2016.  Take that for what it’s worth.
