Maria Ho Hits Israel With Casino Magnate Sheldon Adelson?

Casino mogul and GOP mega donor Sheldon Adelson has made no secret of the fact that he despises the idea of legalized online poker in the US.  He’s actually helped to draft legislation that would prohibit individual states from allowing the activity.  All the more reason why it came as quite a shock that poker pro and hostess of the Battle of Malta would reportedly have headed off to Israel with Adelson.

Ho clears the air with PokerNews.com.

“I didn’t go with him,” she clarified.  “Sheldon just made this trip possible.”

Maria supports the Omri Casspi's Foundation.   Casspi is the first Israeli basketball player to be signed to the NBA.

His foundation builds playgrounds back in Israel for kids of all religions.
