Poker Player Wins $100K Body Fat Bet
“I hit the zone and just felt it,” poker pro Walter Fisher told the New York Daily News. “I ran two grand up to $97,000 at blackjack. I put up big numbers at poker.”
He couldn’t lose. And then he did.
He was soon more than $100,000 in debt. What he gain though was between 40 and 50 pounds.
At 6-foot-1, Fisher tipped the scales at 245 pounds, and his spiraling financial losses showed no sign of abating. “I was broke, big and isolated. People dream of what I had accomplished, and I lost control,” he says.
Then it happened. Fisher got ripped, thanks to a $100,000 bet.
