Geoff Ogilvy US Open payout odds came in at +2000 for a $2000 payout on every $100 bet at SBG Global.
Ogilvy had the second shortest odds of winning the 2009 US Open after Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, though Jim Furyk had shorter odds at some online sportsbooks such as Sportingbet.com, which does not take US customers.
Ogilvy is an Australian professional golfer best known for winning the 2006 U.S. Open and three World Golf Championships events. He is the first Australian to win a men's golf major since Steve Elkington at the 1995 PGA Championship.

One wonders why - not charismatic enough presumably - but he too has a perfect game for the New York public course where customers sleep in their cars in order to arrive for the early-morning tee times.
In 2002, the crowd was raucously supportive of its favourite, Mickelson, and those in contention will have to deal with a crazy atmosphere. By the time the weekend leaders tee off in the middle of the afternoon, there are more than a few who have been past the beer tent more than once. In that cauldron, Ogilvy manages to stay quite calm and relaxed about the whole thing and anyone playing with - let alone beating - Woods or Mickelson will need a fair dose of equanimity.
For those betting outside the US including Australia, Sportingbet.com was also offering odds on Geoff Ogilvy at 20/1 for a payout potential of US$2000 on every US$100 bet.
Geoff Ogilvy certainly has great value here. Remember, a US$10 bet would still pay US$200 and there will be plenty of small bets like this as there always are in golf.
