NFC North Futures: Most Profitable Teams For an Online Bookie

The NFC North should be a slam dunk division for the Green Bay Packers. Based on the betting odds, per head agents only must watch out for wagers on Green Bay when considering NFC betting.

That’s not totally true. Check out what agents should do with every team in the NFC North, one of football’s more interesting divisions in 2017.

NFC North Division Futures

Green Bay Packers                        -140

It’s important to set max NFC betting limits on Green Bay just because of the value so many casual players are going to see in -140. The odds appear disastrously low.

Most pro players won’t touch -140. But, Green Bay fans are going to be all over it since the odds are comparable to betting on American Pharoah to beat a pony in a horse race. Casual players could jump on the odds as well.

Minnesota Vikings                        +225

Minnesota should be improved. Unfortunately for the Vikings, they’ve got not one, but two potential free agent quarterbacks at the end of the season in Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Bradford. What it means is that the Vikings may not play as well as their odds indicate.

Online bookies must do their own handicapping. If they feel Minnesota has no shot at winning the NFC North, they should encourage action on the Vikings to take home the division title.

Detroit Lions                                   +425

This is the scary bet. Detroit has an underrated defense, an underrated head coach in Jim Caldwell, and a quarterback in Matthew Stafford that appears to be hitting his peak. Detroit could upset Green Bay and Minnesota to win the NFC North Division.

Agents must set max betting limits on Detroit at +425. The Lions are a solid team in every phase of the game. Don’t be left on the hook for a $425 payout for every $100 wagered.

Chicago Bears                                 +1200

It’s difficult to see the Chicago Bears winning the division. Then again, it’s hard to go against Coach Fox. John Fox has brought two teams from two different conferences to the Super Bowl.

That’s not to say that he’s taking Chicago to the Super Bowl.

What that means is that Fox’s players step it up for him. It only takes an injury to someone like Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford for Chicago to have a legit shot at the NFC North Division.

Beware the Bears. Per head agents must set max betting limits.
