Atop the 2009 US Open leaderboard after Friday's play was Lucas Glover.  His odds at would pay out $20,000 for every $100 bet early on at Sportsinteraction.com.  The one gambling site still offering updated odds on the 2009 US Open was Sportsbook.com.  They had Glover as a "field" choice, paying $300 for every $100 bet.  At least you could still get some action down on him though.

Glover lead at -6 par through 13 of his second round.

The USGA was attempting to finish the second round late Friday, but that didn't happen. The championship is behind schedule after a rain soaked opening round.

Ricky Barnes was one shot behind Glover.  He too was part of the "field" option at Sportsbook.com.

Another "field" contender was Peter Hansen of Sweden, who placed third after Friday's play.

Mike Weir was the first "listed" golfer at Sportsbook.com.  He would pay $1000 for every $100 wagered if the bet were to be locked in now.

Phil Mickelson's odds have gotten shorter as he remains in contention and Tiger Woods falters.  Mickelson would now pay $600 for every $100 bet.

Tiger Woods was listed with the best payout odds in recent memory.  Woods promised a payout of $500 for every $100 bet at Sportsbook.com.
