New Table, Slots Games Unveiled at G2E Including Westworld Game

Approximately 2600 were expected to be in attendance at this week’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) though attendance may be down due to Sunday’s tragic mass shooting as some parties planning late arrivals were still afforded an opportunity to cancel their flights and hotel rooms.

Among the top innovations premiered at this year’s G2E, slot maker IGT unveiled its Wheel of Fortune 4D game.

Ashley Owens of the Quebec Daily Examiner writes of the new game:

Through the use of TRUE 4D, gesture recognition and mid-air haptic technologies, the Wheel of Fortune 4D game offers players glasses-free 3D gaming entertainment and the ability to engage with the game’s 3D graphics like never before. Gesture recognition technology enables players to interact with and manipulate the game’s 3D objects, and mid-air haptic technology allows players to experience tactile feedback from the game’s graphics.

“G2E 2017 is the world debut for IGT’s Wheel of Fortune 4D game on the CrystalCurve TRUE 4D cabinet,” said Dallas Orchard, IGT Chief Product Officer, Gaming. “The game combines the player-favorite Wheel of Fortune theme with unprecedented technology and cutting-edge hardware to create a truly unique player experience. Many of our customers are anticipating the market arrival of IGT’s SPHINX 4D game, which makes it even more exciting to announce additional TRUE 4D titles that they can leverage to differentiate their casino floors, and to engage a broad demographic of players.”

Then there was AGS, which debuted its five new table game variations Monday.

made possible through the purchase of five dynamic, new games from New-Jersey based company In Bet Gaming ("In Bet") today.

The Company is showcasing the strength and diversity of its new assets by showing theSuper 4Blackjack progressive game, Jackpot Blackjackgame, and the Royal 9Baccarat progressive game inside its booth.

"We've always been passionate about strategically investing in games and technology building momentum in the market," said John Hemberger, Senior Vice President of Table Products for AGS. "This acquisition combines In Bet's proven, innovative table game side bets with our customer-focused distribution network and expertise in table game progressive technology to deliver players and operators unmatched gaming experiences."

Elsewhere, casino gaming developer Aristocrat has developed a slot game based on HBO’s Emmy-nominated show Westworld.  That game was created in conjunction with Warner Bros.

Aristocrat’s slots portfolio already includes a number of other Warner Bros titles including the Batman Classic TV Series Slot Game, The Big Bang Theory, Dumb & Dumber and A Christmas Story.
