Clown With Hammer Robs Casino

A manhunt continues for an armed robber who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from a popular Midwestern USA casino.

The robbery took place Tuesday at Rapid City, South Dakota’s Rushmore Casino.

Police say the suspect entered the establishment dressed as a clown and threatened staff with a hammer.

Surveillance footage showed the tall, slim man, said to be in his late teens to early 20’s, walking into the casino shortly before 6:45 pm.

Anyone with any information about the robbery is asked to call Detective Ryan Gebhard at 394-4134. An anonymous tip can be sent by texting ‘RCPD’ and the information to 847411.
