Macau Gaming Revenue Rises in Quarter 3

The Asian gambling Mecca of Macau witnessed a steep rise in revenue during Quarter 3 with revenues of MOP67bn ($6.2bn) from July to September 2017.  This amounted to a rise of nearly 22% on a year-on-year basis.

The VIP segment rose 35% during this quarter, led by baccarat.

Gross Gaming Revenues (GGR) in VIP baccarat, however, plunged 57.5% or nearly MOP38.69bn ($4.81bn), compared to the same period during the previous year.
