Why My Bookie Hates These Three NFL Teams… And I Should Keep Betting Them

There is a three-way tie atop the NFL best record Against The Spread.  Each of these teams continue to give regional bookies and agents, in particular, fits of rage week after week.

Two are easy to guess as their ATS records coincide with outright victories within their designated conferences.

Kansas City is tied with New England and Pittsburgh atop the AFC Conference heading into Week 9 but it is the Chiefs who hold the best record in terms of covering games at 6-2 ATS.

In the NFC, Philadelphia maintains the best record at 7-1 (best in the league as well).  They are 6-2 ATS coming into Week 9.

For savvy sports bettors, the New York Jets might be a little easier to figure out as the third team with six covers so far.  That’s because everyone had them pegged to finish last in the league and, even when losing, New York has played it relatively close.
