What the Bookies are Saying: UVA vs Miami

Resident bookmaking expert Tony Caliente discusses Saturday’s Noon EST game between Virginia and Miami.

Action was nearly 75% on Virginia as the +19 underdog in this one.

Miami was ranked number 9 in this week’s College Football Power Ratings and should actually be a -25 favorite here. A line move from -17 to -19 seems to suggest encouraging the action towards the Cavaliers so I am relatively confident that the Canes will cover here.

Miami did beat Virginia by 20 points last season and has beaten them by 19 in another matchup back in 2013.
