Bitcoin Sportsbook Anybet.eu Closes Shop, Will Likely Stiff Players

One of a recent crop of Bitcoin-only online sportsbooks has reportedly closed its doors.

In business since 1986, Bookmaker now accepts most forms of crypto-currencies

From SBR:

The blacklisted bitcoin sports betting site owes a dozen players who have filed SBR complaints to report non-payment. Anybet does not offer email or telephone customer service, and only responds through its support ticket system.

It is not immediately clear why the site has shut down.

Gambling911.com recommends playing with websites that have been long established and accept and pay out in more mainstream forms of payment such as checks, money wires and even cash, in addition to crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin.

Bookmaker.eu is one such site that is the oldest online today and recently announced it is accepting a few dozen types of crypto-currencies.
