Vegas Police Release Image of Man Who Robbed Bellagio Poker Room

Las Vegas police released surveillance camera images of a man they say robbed the cashier cage at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino poker room Tuesday afternoon.

The gunman — described as white, in his 30s and about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 — wore glasses, a black beanie cap, a blond wig and a mask that covered a portion of his face.

On Tuesday, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Capt. John Pelletier said another person accompanied the robber in the car, but Pelletier said it appeared the person was there "against his will." He did not provide further details.

The suspect’s vehicle has been recovered.

James Woods, who just two weeks ago was embroiled in a vicious Twitter batter with poker pro Daniel Negreanu as to who was the biggest perv, happened to be present when the robbery occurred.

He tweeted out:

"So we are playing poker at the @BellagioPoker and a guy walks up with a gun and robs the cage thirty feet from us ten minutes ago. Bellagio staff were fantastic. They surrendered the money quietly, so no customers would get hurt. Nobody even realized it was happening. Excellent staff, cool under pressure."
