J Todd Discusses How Regulatory Crackdown in UK Could Spoil Things for Affiliates

In his most recent addition of APCW Perspectives, J. Todd discusses the shifting tides in the UK online gambling market and, more specifically, how affiliates are becoming negatively affected.

A few days ago, Gambling911.com reported on how Bet365 has been requiring its affiliates to script their review pages to conform with the new regulations while Skybet has gone even further to abruptly cancel its affiliate program.

The UK regulatory agents, specifically the UK Gambling Commission, allege that some affiliates are giving out false information to the public in an effort to share in player gambling losses with the operator.

Todd reports that LeoVegas will limit the number of affiliates they work with in the United Kingdom.

Todd also discusses how one affiliate has actually taken legal action against a gaming site that opted to change its provisions without prior notice.
