Troy and North Texas will be a fun affair and high scoring to boot. Western Kentucky and Georgia State will not be a scoring juggernaut but it does feature two good teams. Both Western Kentucky and Georgia State are in transition modes for the respective programs. Both programs are finding a new identity and learning to deal with it. The Hilltoppers have been disappointing but hey, they’re in a bowl game. Nobody can take that away from them. We will all see if they were worthy. The school of thought is, they should beat Georgia State. Its college football and you never know. Look at the lines and odds closely. Don’t get trapped, wait on this one closer to game time and you may find better value.

Troy Trojans vs. North Texas
Troy
The Trojans won six straight to close the season out and it awarded them a share of the Sun Belt title. Their only loses on the season were to Boise State and South Alabama. Their offense has not been the most reliable, but good enough. Their defense on the other hand, has been outstanding which includes a win over LSU. The Trojans are hot, and they come in this one with confidence. Expect them to show up and be hard to beat.
North Texas
The Mean Green represent a ton of scoring. If you are looking for a bowl game with a lot of points and scoring every time you’re at the microwave with a fresh bag of popcorn, then this is definitely the game for you. The season ended with a thud for North Texas and a miserable loss to Florida Atlantic but their offense was great all year long and expect this game to be a barnburner.

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers vs. Georgia State Panthers
Western Kentucky
For Western Kentucky, this season was a step backwards and most feel they simply don’t belong in this game. Who knows where this program will end up in the near future but one thing is sure, they have a date with the Panthers and it could be a long day if their offense continues where it left off to end the season. Their offense is nonexistent and their defense is sketchy at best.
Georgia State
Look, this bowl game is what it is, not exactly a scoring clinic here. This game would have best been played on Thanksgiving Day after the tryptophan had kicked in and you knew that at least a 3 ½ hour nap was the order of the afternoon. This could be a good game and it could be a real snooze fest. Georgia State is rebuilding and they have done so quite nicely. Their defense is solid but their offense struggle to make much headway.
Vegas has opened the doors top your winning potential and you need to act quickly. Do your homework, research the games and know who is worthy, of earning your hard earned dollar. Betting is fun but it can be a tricky game. The best game plan, is to have a plan!
