Gambling911.com has your latest odds on Friday night's Cotton Bowl game between USC and Ohio State where the line has suddenly shot up to -9.5 at some books This is right where the College Football Betting Power Ratings have the number after opening at -6.5.

The dramatic line change occurred just after 12:35 pm EST with some books moving a whole two points at that time.

Should the Buckeyes lose here it would be only their third three-loss season in the last 13 years.  During that time span, Ohio State only lost by more than 3 points in the disaster that was 2011 (6-7).

Both these teams should be motivated, no matter what some experts may say regarding either team wishing it were in the Playoffs.

"We want to go win because 12-2 isn't a bad season," running back J.K. Dobbins said. "It's not great, it's not what's expected in Columbus, Ohio, but it's a good season. That's what we're trying to do. Me personally, I wouldn't want to let Coach Meyer down and give him his first three-loss season (at Ohio State)."
