Due to congestion throughout the day Wednesday, some exchanges were forced to halt withdrawals.

Bitcoin.com News reports that BitStamp had resolved its issues with Ethereum while users of the Kucoin exchange were less fortunate.   Kucoin urged users to withdraw in neo instead of ether.

Ethereum was down nearly 4% on the day at CoinBase and 14.5% on the week.

The declines in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin observed over the past 48 hours were not as bad as the rest of the market, however.
