With Super Bowl LII just days away, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its Super Bowl LII By The Numbers infographic together with its report on 2018’s Best & Worst Cities for Football Fans.
To determine the best places for loving on America’s No. 1 sport, WalletHub compared more than 240 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team based on 21 key metrics. The data set ranges from number of NFL and college football teams to average ticket prices.

- The average cost of a ticket to the past five Super Bowls.
- $5+ Million: The average cost for a 30-second commercial during Super Bowl LII (up 87% since 2008).
