Billionaire Investor: Bitcoin And Other Cryptocurrencies Are 'Ridiculous'

Billionaire investor Carl Icahn says he doesn't like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, calling them “ridiculous” in this CNBC interview that aired Wednesday.

But Icahn admits he likes the cheapness of various cryptocurrencies.

"I think the market itself is way overleveraged," he went on to say.  "You got too much money flowing into it in these index funds to begin with and, much worse than that, these ETFS, basically it's a little bit like '08 when everybody was buying mortgage-backed securities."
